Dataquest is proud to announce that we have partnered with Womxn in Data Science, a social enterprise with the vision to inspire and empower 1 million data-literate women, increase the recruitment and retention of women in data professions, and encourage inclusive innovation in AI. They will be running a joint #100DaysofCode Challenge to build a data and AI literacy practice in women and girls. The challenge runs from January 8th to April 17th, 2024.

This year marks a new direction for the #100DaysofCode Challenge with the introduction of a partial scholarship model. Participants who do not have accessed who the Dataquest Premium plan will be offered a Financial Aid Discount on Dataquest’s Premium Plan, providing them unlimited access to our extensive array of courses, projects, and exercises. This approach primarily serves to maintain the high quality of Dataquest’s educational offerings. The minimal fee helps support operational costs and continuous course improvements, ensuring our commitment to delivering high-quality education at a more accessible price point.

In addition to this new model, Dataquest will award five outstanding participants with a full year of free access to Dataquest Premium.

Core to the Dataquest mission is providing personalized learning paths that get learners to positive, real-world career outcomes. This mission-aligned partnership will work to provide datathon participants with a personalized and skills-driven learning path involving the following:

  • Recommending suitable courses
  • Building proficiency in data science through exploring real-world data
  • Prioritizing in-demand data skills
  • Monitoring skills progress and suggesting improvements

“Over the past 6 years, I have seen thousands of students transform their careers using the Dataquest platform. I am thrilled we can partner with mentors like KP to open opportunities for more women in this field. As businesses incorporate generative AI into their day-to-day operations, there will be a growing demand for people with foundational data understanding and the ability to quickly learn and implement the technologies Dataquest teaches.
