Guided Project — Data Prep in Tableau

In this project, you'll take on the role of a data analyst working for Dataquest to prepare data for analyzing their online learning platform. You'll connect to an Excel file containing three key tables capturing student engagement, course performance, and content completion rates. Your challenge is to import these tables into Tableau and define the relationships between them to create a unified data model enabling insights into the platform's effectiveness. You'll get hands-on practice with essential data preparation steps in Tableau, building a well-structured foundation for data visualization and analysis. By the end of the project, you'll have a robust data model ready for generating insights on how students interact with the platform and perform in courses, informing future content strategy and platform enhancements.
