Project overview
In this project, you’ll work as an analyst for an e-learning company offering programming courses. To promote your product, you’ll analyze survey data from freeCodeCamp to determine the two best markets to advertise in based on the number of new coders and their willingness to pay for learning.
You’ll apply statistical skills in R including calculating averages, creating frequency distributions, and identifying outliers. By combining these techniques, you’ll provide data-driven recommendations on the optimal markets to focus advertising efforts.
Objective: Analyze survey data using R to determine the two best markets to advertise online programming courses in based on audience size and willingness to pay.
Key skill required
To complete this project, it's recommended to build these foundational skills in R
- Summarizing distributions using measures of central tendency
- Measuring the variability of distributions using variance and standard deviation
- Standardizing values using z-scores to compare data
- Locating values in distributions using z-scores
