March Madness Challenge – Compete, Learn, and Win – Register Now
Project overview
In this project, you’ll work as an analyst for an e-learning company offering programming courses. Your goal is to identify the two best markets to advertise in to promote your courses and attract more paying customers.
Using survey data from freeCodeCamp’s 2017 New Coder Survey, you’ll apply your Python and pandas skills to explore the locations of new coders, the number of potential customers in each market, and how much they’re willing to spend on learning. You’ll analyze the data, deal with outliers, and summarize your findings to recommend the top two countries to focus advertising efforts on.
This practical project lets you apply data analysis skills to make data-driven business decisions. If you’re new to Python, consider our Python for Data Science Fundamentals course.
Objective: Analyze survey data using Python and pandas to determine the two best markets for an e-learning company to advertise their programming courses in.
