Project overview
In this project, you’ll take on the role of a data analyst for the Chinook digital music store. You’ll use SQL to query a real-world database, analyze sales data, and answer business questions to help the company make strategic decisions.
Through increasingly complex queries, you’ll apply skills in joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, and more to uncover insights about employee performance, sales by country, album vs individual track purchases, and other key business areas. You’ll gain practical experience in using SQL to extract and interpret data, providing valuable findings to stakeholders.
Objective: Use SQL to analyze a music store database, identify sales trends, and provide data-driven insights to guide business strategy.
